Homemade Bacon

Chopped green onions.

Finely chop ginger.

Crush the peppercorns with the back of a knife.

Scrape the skin of the pork belly with a knife, don't wash it with water.

Add the right amount of salt and two spoons of five-spice powder.

Add green onion and ginger.

Add 50ml soy sauce.

Add 300ml light soy sauce.

Add 40ml white wine.

Add the pepper, break the star anise, add the star anise.

Rub it with your hands, soak the pork belly completely into the condiments. Marinate for two days, turn the meat over every day, rub it with your hands, so that the pork belly is fully flavored.

Then hang the pork belly to air dry, and you can eat it in a week 😄 (The temperature in the north is very low in winter, and the temperature in the house is very high. So I opened the kitchen window half and closed the kitchen door, so that the temperature in the kitchen is as low as possible. Around 10°C. I don’t use the kitchen anyway 😄)
