Improved Xinjiang Pilaf
1.
Let's take a photo with Zhang first, because only my son and I have dinner at noon, so the amount used is relatively small. I only used the middle section of four chicken wings.
2.
First marinate the chicken wings with salt and soy sauce.
3.
This is sliced carrot sticks, don’t need to be too thin, lest you won’t find them when they are cooked.
4.
Cut half an onion.
5.
Put some oil in the pot, because carrots are more oil-absorbing, so put more.
6.
Put the chicken wings first and fry them until they are slightly discolored.
7.
Put onions and continue to stir fry.
8.
Finally, add the carrots and stir fry until the carrots are softer.
9.
Finally add some boiling water and cook for a while.
10.
Put the fried chicken wings, carrots, and onions in the rice cooker.
11.
Add the washed rice and put it on top. Simmer for fifteen minutes will do.
12.
I blanched my son a little more vegetables so that when the rice cooker was up, he could mix the rice and vegetables evenly.
Tips:
This is a lazy version of the meal, you can do it when you don’t want to cook. It succeeds at first try.
