It must be cooked thoroughly, and the blood inside is boiled. Adding pepper can well remove the smell. Be sure to rinse with running water before refilling the pot. The braised trotters I made have a lighter taste, which is suitable for our family's taste. For children's shoes with heavy taste, you can increase the amount of salt, soy sauce, and chili.
