Marinated Tofu

Beidoufu has a hard texture and is relatively solid, cut into thick slices 1 cm thick and 5 cm square;

Pour a little oil in a frying pan, spread the tofu slices in the pan, and fry on both sides with low heat to form a crusty layer;

Add spices such as star anise, Chinese pepper, dried red pepper, bay leaf, grass fruit, white cocoa, and appropriate amount of soy sauce, light soy sauce, oyster sauce, salt, and water in a small pot and bring to a boil over high heat;

Put the fried tofu slices into the condiment pot, cook for 10 minutes on medium and low heat for flavor and color; conveniently, I put two boiled and peeled eggs to be marinated together;

Turn off the heat and soak the tofu slices in the soup for at least 30 minutes. It is thick and fragrant and soft. If you want to fully taste, soak it overnight. The taste is almost inhaled in the tofu;

It can be eaten directly or cut diagonally into large slices for a more beautiful appearance.

Marinated tofu is rich in flavor and juicy, and can be used as a main dish as a snack.
Tips:
For tofu, it is better to use northern tofu with a firm texture. It is not easy to break. It is better to cut thick slices and fry to form a thin layer of broken skin; because tofu is not easy to taste, put a little salt in the brine, if you want to eat hot, you can cook it for a while If you want to eat it cold and cook for 10 minutes, turn off the heat, soak it in brine overnight for a full taste.
