Pork Ribs Rice with Tomato Sauce
1.
Add the same amount of water to the rice and steam it into a rice cooker. Because my mother-in-law wanted to eat very soft rice, she deliberately steamed soft rice with twice the water in a small bowl.
2.
Boil the ribs with cold water and remove the blood foam.
3.
Prepare boiled meat: 3 star anise, 2 cinnamon, 4 bay leaves, 20 Chinese pepper, 2 Angelica dahurica, and 1 piece of ginger.
4.
Bring water to a boil in a casserole, add ribs and boiled meat and cook for one hour.
5.
Remove the cooked ribs.
6.
Peel and dice tomatoes.
7.
Put a little oil in the pan and sauté the minced onions.
8.
Add diced tomatoes and stir fry.
9.
Add salt and pepper.
10.
Add appropriate amount of water and simmer for about 5 minutes.
11.
Put in the ribs.
12.
Add sugar.
13.
Add tomato sauce.
14.
Add appropriate amount of soy sauce to mix.
15.
Simmer on low heat for about half an hour.
16.
Finally, shape the steamed rice and place it on a plate, add the pork ribs in tomato sauce and enjoy.
Tips:
I don’t need to add a lot of water to the northeastern rice I use. The rice steamed with a bowl of rice and a bowl of water is just right.
