Purple Sweet Potato Melaleuca Steamed Cake

Peel the purple sweet potato, cut into small cubes, add 40 grams of water and put it in the microwave oven on high heat for 3 minutes. Press it into a puree with a spoon.

Finely dice various candied fruits and set aside.

Add all the flour, add sugar, yeast, remaining water, purple potato puree, and salt into a bread machine and mix into a dough, then continue to knead with the dough stall and leave for about 1 hour.

Divide the dough into 8 portions, flatten it with a rolling pin, then press out a round shape with a mold, and place it in a container with the inner wall of the same diameter that has been coated with cooking oil.

Put a layer of preserved fruit or other fillings (peanuts and sesame seeds are also possible) on the noodles except for the edges; repeat this step about 4 to 5 times (depending on the thickness of the steamed cake you want), and the top layer is No need to put fillings.
