Red Dates and Astragalus Chicken Soup

Blanch the chicken with boiling water.

Then remove the oil from the chicken butt and the skin and oil from the chicken neck.
3.
Chop the green onions and ginger.
4.
Prepare red dates and astragalus.
5.
Put the chicken in the pot and add water.
6.
Add green onions, ginger, red dates, and astragalus.
7.
Bring to a boil and simmer slowly for an hour.
