This is the second time I tried to make the biscuits with the oven. It is crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. It slowly chews up, and it is very fragrant. After it is out of the oven, I will eat two of them at once.
It’s a good choice for breakfast and afternoon tea, or it’s a good dry food for outdoor activities.

Sesame Biscuits

1. Make the sesame filling first: pour salt, sesame oil, and five-spice powder into the sesame paste and stir well. Add in the sifted all-purpose flour, mix all the ingredients evenly, ready for use

2. Then adjust the sauce to be brushed on the surface: mix all the dark soy sauce, honey, and water, and set aside

3. Finally, make the dough part: prepare the crust materials for later use

4. Sift the flour, add in sugar, salt, yeast, salad oil and water, mix well

5. Mix the dough into a dough, knead until it is smooth, seal it with plastic wrap, and let it sit for 20 minutes

6. Roll out the loose dough into a 5mm thick dough with a dough roller

7. Spread the sesame paste filling evenly on the dough

8. Then, roll the dough from top to bottom into strips

9. Fold in half from both ends, then fold in half, seal with plastic wrap, and relax for another 20 minutes

10. Roll the loose dough into a 5 mm thick rectangle with a rolling dough

11. Roll up into strips from bottom to top

12. Then, divide it into 9 parts evenly with a scraper

13. Tighten the incision towards the bottom and gently press it into a pie with your palm

14. Finally, brush the sugar liquid on the cake with a brush and sprinkle with white sesame seeds

15. Preheat the oven in advance

16. Heat up and down at 180 degrees and bake for 25 minutes. The surface is golden yellow, ready to be baked
