Sixi Meatballs

All the ingredients are ready, and the lotus root, carrots, seafood mushrooms, ginger and chives are cut into finely divided pieces and put in a basin for later use.

Chop the pork belly into minced meat, or beat into minced meat with a meat grinder, and then put it in a basin.

Add an egg, 1 teaspoon of white pepper, 1 tablespoon of starch, chopped ginger and chives to the minced meat, and an appropriate amount of salt.

Stir the strength in one direction.

Add the minced carrots, minced seafood mushrooms and minced lotus root to the stirred meat.

Stir in the direction just now.

Grab a small part of the meat filling with your hands and beat it repeatedly to make it stronger, and then use your hands to rub the meat filling into 4 large round balls.

Add a proper amount of oil to the pot, heat it to 60% oil temperature, add the kneaded big round balls, start frying, deep-fry until the surface is golden, then remove the balls.

Leave an appropriate amount of base oil in the pot, add chopped green onion, bay leaves, star anise, and ginger slices, and stir-fry.

Add appropriate amount of oyster sauce and light soy sauce, stir-fry evenly, add appropriate amount of water.

Bring to a boil, add the right amount of salt and chicken essence, add the fried meatballs, and cook for about 20 minutes.

After cooking, remove the balls, pour the remaining soup with starch, boil on high heat, and pour on the balls.

Raise the pot, pour an appropriate amount of water into the pot, add the small rapeseed after the fire is boiled, boil in clean water for 1 minute, remove and drain the water.

Place the boiled small rapeseeds one by one on the plate, and use the carrots to make a coin shape as an embellishment. A plate of auspicious dishes symbolizing the four great events of happiness, wealth, longevity, and happiness is ready.
Tips:
1. Water chestnuts are used in the normal Sixi meatballs, but I don’t sell them here, so I replaced them with lotus roots, which are just as delicious.
2. When stirring the minced meat, be sure to stir in the same direction.
3. The prepared minced meat must be beaten to make it stronger so that it tastes better.
