Spiced Edamame

I bought fresh edamame from the market, soaked in light salt water, washed it, and washed it with steel wool.

Take a edamame, we use scissors to cut the hard parts on both sides. The purpose of this is, for a while. You won't be poked in your mouth when you eat, and this contradiction will add more flavor.

Cut the edamame one by one and wash it with water. Control the moisture for later use.

Make a simple halogen material. Marinated powder, five-spice powder, star anise, pepper, dried chili. crystal sugar.

Pour clean water into the pot. Pour in the halogen material just made. Put in the right amount of salt and light soy sauce. Put it while tasting. Bring it to a boil on the fire.

Cut the edamame and control the moisture.

Bring water to boil, pour in edamame and cook for 3 minutes on high heat

Turn to low heat and cook for 15 minutes.

Turn off the heat and let the edamame soak in the brine. Add more flavor.

When eating, use a meat scoop to scoop out the edamame.
Tips:
If you are not used to using halogen powder, we can add cloves and star anise. Aniseed such as bay leaves. For household use, because it is a one-time brine, it is better to use brine powder. The edamame must be soaked lightly for more than half an hour to add more flavor. Don't cook for too long on low heat, 15 minutes is enough.
