Tips:

One of the origins of Baidu

In the late Ming and early Qing dynasties, due to natural disasters and wars, a large number of refugees flocked to Jinan. There was a small porridge shop surnamed Tian, who often gave porridge relief. The victims told each other, and more people came to the porridge shop to drink porridge and save lives. The congee shop couldn't meet the demand, so they added a lot of vegetable leaves and salty and spicy seasonings into the porridge. Whenever the victims saw foam in the large pot of porridge before serving a bowl of porridge, they affectionately called it "Tian Mo", which was the porridge made by Mr. Tian. Sometimes there is a poor scholar who came to the province to rush for the exam and came here to get this porridge. The food was so sweet and I thought that the "sweet mo" fruit was well known. Later, after the scholars got fame and became an official, when they made a special trip to Jiujiang to drink Sweet Mo, they no longer felt like they were in the past. When asked the reason, the boss replied that it was really "Tian Mo", meaning porridge with the name Tian. The official realized that it was caused by the mistake of only listening to the sound but not distinguishing the handwriting, so he inscribed "Tian Mo" on the plaque and chanted a poem: "The mistake of Tian Mo as Tian Mo was just because of the vicissitudes of the past. The taste is always sweet after bitterness." From then on, this kind of salty porridge was called "sweet moo".
