Spicy Hot Pot

Vegetables: lotus root, potatoes, beans, carrots, celery, bitter chrysanthemum, choy sum, green onions, white onions, bean curd, coriander.

Meat dishes: pork balls, hot pot balls, cooked chicken breasts, cooked sea prawns, pure meat sausages, finger sausages.

Potatoes and lotus root are sliced and blanched, celery is cut into sections, tofu skin is cut into wide strips and blanched, and set aside in cold water.

Fry the beans, wash the choy sum and bitter chrysanthemum for later use.

Shred the white onion, slice the carrot, green onion, ginger, garlic, dried chili, and coriander as shown in the picture.

Start the pot and burn the oil. The amount of oil is more than that of the cooking. Saute the onion, ginger, garlic, and chili.

Add a spoonful of Pixian bean paste and stir-fry to get the red oil.

Add shredded shallots and carrot slices, half a teaspoon of five-spice powder, half a packet of spicy pot seasoning, and half a bowl of water.

Tips:
The raw materials can be changed at will. If you don’t eat spicy food, you can put a little less spicy fragrant pot sauce, and put more oyster sauce soy sauce for seasoning.
