Rice tofu is a kind of food that I have never heard of before. It is sold in various markets in Hunan. A piece of it has a special weight in hand, and it is soft and fancy but very slick. Although the name is called rice tofu, it has nothing to do with soybeans. It is made from rice and the method is the same as that of tofu, so it is called rice tofu.
Rice tofu is easy to eat, and can be eaten cold; hot food is mainly cooked and eaten with sauerkraut inside, which is delicious; cold food is mainly cold dressing with various ingredients, especially sour water, which tastes refreshing and hot. Rice tofu is rich in nutrients, neutral in acid and alkali, moderate in hardness, suitable for all ages.

Spicy Rice Tofu

1. Rice tofu cut into small pieces

2. Chop the millet pepper, chives, and coriander separately, and wash the dried sea rice after soaking in water

3. Heat oil in a nonstick pan, fry the rice tofu until golden on both sides

4. Then add soy sauce, salt, sugar, dark soy and water

5. Add pepper cubes, dried sea rice, chicken essence and simmer for 3-4 minutes

6. When the soup is almost dry, add coriander and chopped green onions, shake the pot, and let the hot climate in the pot make the coriander soup soft and dark green.

Tips:

The rice tofu is especially fragile after being fried, so you have to be careful when turning it.
