Steamed Pork Lotus Leaf Cake
1.
The best pork belly with skin, sliced, my meat is left over from the dumplings, so there is no skin, um... it doesn’t matter, it doesn’t affect anything. Streaky pork with light soy sauce, braised soy sauce, sugar, cooking wine, oil, green onion and ginger, marinated overnight
2.
Glutinous rice + rice + pepper + star anise over low heat, stir-fry until the rice turns yellow
3.
The rice and spices are put into the cooking machine and minced. I didn’t mince all the minced. I added some granules. Pour in the sauce of the meat and marinated meat. If the rice is still a little dry, add some water and mix well.
4.
Put it in the lotus leaf and wrap it up, I used two pieces and wrapped it with another layer
5.
Steam for an hour and a half
6.
Flour + yeast + a spoonful of sugar + water, kneading the dough for about five minutes, the dough is smooth
7.
Divide into several portions, round and roll into beef tongue shape
8.
Brush the "beef tongue" with oil, fold it in half, pierce the hole with a toothpick, and shape it into a lotus leaf shape, and put it in a steamer to start fermentation
9.
It’s been 45 minutes. It’s summer. It’s easier to send. Open it to see if the hole is still there. If it becomes very shallow, stick it again. Otherwise, the hole will be gone after steaming. Then steam on high heat for 15 minutes, turn off the heat for 5 minutes, it’s fine, wrap the meat and start eating
Tips:
1. Potatoes, pumpkins, etc. can be placed under the steamed meat, which can absorb the taste of the meat, which is also great. When steaming the meat, pay attention to the water and don’t boil it dry.
2. If the steamed meat powder also has more particles, it may take a little longer to steam.
3. I use one batch of lotus leaf cake. I have fallen in love with the first one. As long as the dough is kneaded well, it will not have any effect. Therefore, knead the dough for five minutes and make sure to knead it smoothly. I have a relatively small amount of noodles. Many people in the family add to it by themselves, I wish everyone a good appetite, yo!
