Steamed Ribs with Glutinous Rice

Soak long glutinous rice overnight in cold water in advance.

Wash the ribs and chop them into a length of about 100mm.

Cut a few knives on the surface of the meat to make it easier to taste.

Take a large bowl, put salt, light soy sauce, oyster sauce, chicken essence, five-spice powder, sesame sesame oil, green onion, and ginger in the bowl and mix thoroughly. Put in the ribs and grab them with your hands.

Add a tablespoon of cornstarch.

Wrap the marinated ribs with plastic wrap and put them in the refrigerator for more than 3 hours. They can be marinated overnight for a more delicious taste.

Drain the glutinous rice soaked in advance and add a little salt to taste. Glue a layer of glutinous rice evenly on the surface of the ribs, and lightly pat the glutinous rice on the ribs with both hands.

Brush the plate with a thin layer of vegetable oil, and arrange the ribs with sticky rice on the plate.

Put water on the steamer, add the ribs after the water is boiled, cover and steam over high heat for more than 60 minutes. I steamed it for 1 hour and 15 minutes, and the whole ribs were very delicious.

Tips:
1. This dish is best to use long glutinous rice, because the taste of long glutinous rice is relatively soft; 2. Brush a layer of oil on the plate where the ribs are placed, so that the glutinous rice at the bottom will not stick to the plate; 3. Marinated ribs Don’t use dark soy sauce or soy sauce when you are eating, these two things will make the glutinous rice black; 4. To make soft and rotten ribs, you need to steam it for more than 60 minutes. It must be steamed for more than one and a half hours to steam the ribs inside until they are soft and rotten.
