Steamed Ribs with Lotus Leaf and Glutinous Rice

Soak the glutinous rice in water for 5-8 hours, and soak the fresh lotus leaves in light salt water for half an hour, then wash them for later use.

Wash the ribs and cut into small pieces. Use ginger, garlic, dark soy sauce, light soy sauce, oyster sauce, cooking wine, salt and sugar to mix well. Seal with plastic wrap and marinate in the refrigerator for 2 hours.

Mix the marinated ribs with glutinous rice.

Spread the washed lotus leaves in a perforated steaming dish, and put in the mixed ribs and glutinous rice.

Wrap it up and put it in the steaming box.

The steamer is adjusted to over-temperature steaming mode, 110 degrees, steaming for 50 minutes. After being out of the pot, cut the lotus leaves along the edge of the steamer and sprinkle with chopped green onion and red pepper to garnish.
