I went to the seafood market on the weekend and bought 2 large scallops. The first time I made it by myself, I steamed it with vermicelli and garlic! The meat feels a bit old, not as good as large scallops! "

Steamed Scallops with Garlic Vermicelli

1. Straps bought back

2. Use a knife to pry open the shell, take out the meat, and clean it

3. The meat is too thick, I cut it in half, add some salt, cooking wine, and black pepper to marinate for a while

4. Soak the fans in advance

5. Clean the shell with a toothbrush and put the vermicelli underneath

6. Put the strap on the fan

7. Saute the garlic with oil in advance and add it to the scallops

8. After the water in the pot is boiled, steam the scallops for 4-5 minutes

9. Take a small bowl, add light soy sauce, fish sauce and a little sugar and stir to make a sauce

10. Take out the steamed scallops and drizzle with the adjusted sauce

11. Add chopped green onion and diced red pepper

12. Heat a little salad oil in a small pot and pour it over the chopped green onion and red pepper.

Tips:

The big scallop is very thick, so I cut it in half!
The steaming time does not need to be very long, no more than 5 minutes!
The garlic must be sautéed with oil before steaming it is delicious!
