Salted chicken is one of the most common snacks in Taiwan. Salted chicken is fried from chicken breasts or chicken thighs. Among them, chicken breasts with bones are the best. Cut them into smaller pieces to make the chicken bones crispy.
Today I used chicken thighs, haha~~~ I don’t have good teeth, I still don’t eat chicken bones.
The fried chicken nuggets are crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The taste is very good. The salt-fried chicken will finally add a nine-layer pagoda to the pan to fragrant. I don’t have a nine-layer pagoda, so it’s useless, but the chicken nuggets taste just as good.

Taiwanese Salted Chicken

1. Cut the chicken thigh with a knife into chunks about the size of your thumb

2. Shredded green onion and ginger

3. Add green onion and ginger, five-spice powder, salt and soy sauce to the cut chicken pieces

4. Mix well and marinate for 1 hour, preferably overnight

5. Sweet potato powder ready

6. Pour the sweet potato powder into the marinated chicken nuggets and mix well to make the sweet potato powder soaked. It is best not to see any dry powder.

7. Pour the oil in the pot and heat the oil and then add the chicken nuggets to fry. Separate the sticky areas with chopsticks

8. Flip and fry until golden

9. fish out

10. Wash the lettuce and spread it on the bottom of the plate

11. Heat the oil, pour in and remove the slightly cold chicken nuggets, and then re-fry them.

Tips:

Be sure to re-fry twice. In the first time, take out the chicken nuggets. The food itself has the function of heating and self-cooking. Leave it for a while to let the chicken nuggets cook more thoroughly. In the second time, heat the oil and fry it again. Let the chicken nuggets crisp on the outside and tender on the inside.
Finally, sprinkle with salt and pepper and chili powder, mix well and eat.
