Peach gum is a light yellow transparent solid natural resin, harvested in summer and autumn, and its composition is roughly the same as gum arabic. It is sweet and bitter in nature, flat, non-toxic, and is mainly used for the treatment of stone leaching, bloody, dysentery. Peach gum has sufficient water solubility and proper viscosity. Peach gum is supplied in solid and solution forms.

Tremella Peach Gum Sweet Soup

1. Prepare the required materials

2. Soak the peach gum and white fungus separately with water (the peach gum soaks for a longer time, depending on the size)

3. Red dates pitted and chopped

4. Tremella removes moisture and breaks up

5. Clean up the soaked peach gum

6. Put water, white fungus, red dates, rock sugar in the pot

7. Cover the lid and turn on the high heat to start boiling. When the water is boiled, change to low heat and simmer slowly

8. Pour the peach gum and simmer for another 20 minutes, and it’s ready

Tips:

1. Peach gum is water-soluble, so the stewing time should not be too long
2. Milk or other ingredients can be added according to personal taste
