Day lily is also called golden lily. Fresh day lily contains the chemical ingredient colchicine, which must be processed before being eaten, soaked in cold water, or boiled in boiling water. After high-temperature heating, the colchicine contained in it can be decomposed. But day lily is indeed a special dish.

Yellow Flower Stir Fry

1. Main ingredients: day lily, green pepper, beef sausage, green onion and ginger.

2. Cut the green pepper and beef sausage into strips.

3. Add water to the pot, boil, add the day lily and blanch until cooked through, remove and soak in cold water for more than 30 minutes.

4. Heat oil in a pan and sauté the scallions and ginger.

5. Add the beef sausage and green peppers and stir-fry evenly.

Tips:

In order to prevent poisoning of fresh day lily, the fresh day lily should be blanched in boiling water, then soaked in clean water, and then washed with water before cooking.
