Usually, the barbecued pork is grilled in the oven, which is troublesome, and the heat has to be controlled. However, it’s too simple to cook with a rice cooker. Adjust the flavor and marinate for a day, throw it in the rice cooker and turn on a porridge cooking function and you’re done. Although the surface is not very dry compared to the oven-baked, the meat is still very good after cooling, and the taste is the same. Especially used to make barbecued pork buns, the barbecued pork cooked in a rice cooker is more delicious.

Barbecued Pork in Rice Cooker

1. Choose pork neck meat, remove fat, just lean meat

2. Add maltose and honey to the meat

3. Soy sauce, light soy sauce, oyster sauce, five-spice powder and salt are all added

4. Mix evenly, knead with your hands until the juice is completely absorbed

5. Knead until the juice is completely absorbed

6. Sealed in plastic wrap, preserved in refrigerator for 1 day

7. Put it in the rice cooker, turn on the porridge cooking function, wait for the program to complete, do not open the lid, and simmer for 1 hour. The meat will come out of soup when braising, so there is no problem without adding water. If you want to add water up to 30 grams.

8. Because there is a lot of honey and maltose, the bottom part of the roasting pan will have a caramel color. It does not matter, the meat will not be mushy.

Tips:

Just use the rice cooker's porridge cooking function. If there is no porridge cooking function, choose the rice cooking function
