Braised Pork Belly with Trotter

1. Chop the trotters into pieces.

2. Heat the oil in the pan, add the white sugar and fry it over a low heat to get the color of the sugar.

3. Pour in the trotters for coloring.

4. Add soy sauce, green onion, ginger, five-spice powder, water, and bring to a boil.

5. Turn to low heat, cover and simmer for 1 and a half hours.

6. Cut the pork belly into pieces.

7. Add soy sauce, five-spice powder, and green onions, mix well and marinate for 1 hour.

8. Pour into the trotters and stir well.

9. Cover and simmer for 45 minutes.
