Fried lotus root box is my favorite dish when I was a kid. The crispy skin of fried lotus root box is wrapped in lotus root with crisp and waxy, and the lotus root is filled with fragrant meat. With one bite, you can experience many flavors and textures, which is definitely a great enjoyment."

Fried Lotus Root Box

1. The raw materials of the batter: flour, glutinous rice flour, baking powder, half an egg, and water, put them in a container, beat them evenly, make the batter thin and thick, pick it up with chopsticks, and slowly stack the batter into a line.

2. Three-point fat and seven-point lean pork are chopped into mashed pork. Add scallion, ginger, sugar, salt, pepper, MSG, light soy sauce, starch, half an egg, and cooking wine into the pork mash.

3. Beat hard.

4. After peeling the lotus root, cut it into a piece of lotus root clip. Do not cut the two pieces to form a connected lotus root clip.

5. Add the minced meat in the middle of the lotus root slices and gently press it with your hands.

6. Wrap with batter.

7. Put it in a frying pan and slowly deep fry it over medium-to-low heat.

8. If you fry a lot at a time, you can fry it first, and then return to the frying pan to fry it once the next day.

Tips:

1. When frying, it must be fried until the surface becomes hard to be crispy.



2. For baking powder, please choose aluminum-free baking powder.
