Hot and Sour Fern Root Powder
1.
Boil water in a boiling pot, put fern root powder in a lid, and cook for ten minutes on medium and low heat. Repeatedly cool down, remove and drain the water.
Soaking fern root powder in water before boiling will shorten the cooking time, so lazy people cook it directly without soaking it.
2.
Remove the stems and seeds of the green and red peppers and cut into circles. Cut the shallots and coriander. Peel the peanuts and cut into cubes.
Adjust the juice: five spoons of vinegar, two spoons of light soy sauce, one spoon of chili oil, half a teaspoon of salt, stir evenly and pour it on the fern root powder, sprinkle with shallots, coriander, green and red peppers, and peanuts, and mix well.
It is recommended that the sauce should not be poured in at one time, just adjust it to suit your taste.
Tips:
The fern root powder has not been soaked, and the thickness is different, and the cooking time will be different.
It takes more water to cook fern root powder. One is that it takes a long time, and the other is that it is more sticky. Use chopsticks to stir it from time to time. If you use a non-stick pan, the situation will be better.
The taste of fern root powder will change slightly. For example, I don't like raw garlic, so I didn't add garlic. I like sour, so I put more vinegar. In short, it is the old saying that suits your taste.
