One-pot Papaya Stuffed and Cabbage Rolls
1.
Stir-fry the minced meat until fragrant, add shredded shiitake mushrooms, add soy sauce, salt and fry until fragrant. The amount of soy sauce and salt is enough for the taste of meat and shiitake mushrooms.
2.
Put the fried meat and mushrooms in a large pot.
3.
Chopped beans.
4.
Chopped radish.
5.
Chop the green onion.
6.
Beans, green onion, radish, all put in the meat pot.
7.
Add some oil and salt and mix well. The amount of oil and salt is enough for the carob and radish.
8.
Pour in rice flour and starch, add water and salt and mix well. Add the amount of water slowly. Add a little bit of mixing to see if it is not enough, and finally mix into a solid paste. The salt in this step is enough for powdery saltiness.
9.
Wash the cabbage clean. The long-stemmed cabbage I use is what we call anti-aircraft guns.
10.
Peel the papaya and cut it well. Cut into clips with connected parts underneath. Because the mixed pulp will be stuffed in. Choose the papaya that is a little bit ripe, but not the soft one.
11.
Start wrapping, first fold the cabbage to make a mark.
12.
such.
13.
First put some pulp on the roots to make it thinner.
14.
Fold it over.
15.
Put another layer of paste.
16.
That's it when you finally roll it up. Put water in the pot, put a steaming tray, turn on the lowest heat, and steam while wrapping.
17.
Packed a layer.
18.
When wrapping papaya, use your thumb to prop up the gap.
19.
Stuffed with pulp. It doesn't matter if the papaya splits when it is stuffed, because the pulp is not fluid, just clamp the two pieces.
20.
All wrapped, cover the pot and continue to steam. In the middle of the process, remember to see if there is enough water. If you don't have enough water, you need to add water. Cold or hot water is ok. Just add some if there is not enough water. You don't need to pry. It’s best to put some soy sauce or salt in the water when adding water, because cabbage has no salt. The amount of salt you put before each time is enough. When you add water, use a spoon to pour it down, so that the cabbage has a salty taste. Papaya is sweet but nothing.
21.
In about forty minutes, the cabbage is also rotten. I don't think the cabbage is rotten.
22.
It's delicious, it says I want to have a pot again.
23.
This is the kind of pure meat stuffed, cooked and eaten. It was taken in the dining hall one day.
Tips:
1. Remember to add water from time to time in the middle of the process, otherwise it will be messy.
2. Meat is the key, other materials depend on your inventory and preferences.
3. In addition to cabbage and papaya, other bitter gourd, eggplant, pepper, etc. can be packaged. I like rotten cabbage and sweet papaya.
