Quinoa Abalone Porridge

Put quinoa and rice in an 8-part full cup. One cup can hold 150 grams of rice. Quinoa accounts for 1/3 of the rice. Prepare the shrimp in advance. The shelled abalone needs to be processed separately. This amount is enough to make a pot of porridge, enough for a family of four to drink.

Wash the rice and Tibetan quinoa and put them into the inner pan of the desugared rice cooker. Install the solenoid valve core in advance in the inner pan, and add an appropriate amount of water.

The specific amount of water is added according to personal preference, I add it to a place slightly away from the position of scale 2.

Select the soup and porridge function, the default time is 50 minutes, the time can be adjusted by pressing "+" or "-", and it will run automatically after a few seconds.

In the process of making porridge, the abalone needs to be processed. Use a knife to cut the abalone meat along the shell, remove the internal organs, etc., use a toothbrush to clean the surface of the abalone, cut the cross knife, and put it in a pot of cold water. For cooking wine, if there is chicken powder, put a little bit to increase the freshness. After boiling, cook for about 5 minutes to remove. Be sure to cook it in cold water and low heat so that the cooked abalone meat will not become hard.

When there are 7 or 8 minutes before the end of the porridge, open the lid and add the washed shrimp and a little ginger to continue cooking. The rice cooker is not a pressure cooker. You can open the lid and add ingredients in the middle.

Finally, add the cooked abalone, season with a little salt, and sprinkle with chopped green onion.

Tips:
1. When buying abalone, you can ask the stall owner to help you handle it. When you go home, you only need to scrub it and cook. The abalone must be boiled under cold water.
2. Tibetan white quinoa is non-washable and can be boiled directly. 3. The rice cooker keeps warm for 6 hours automatically. Put the cooked porridge in the pot, you can drink the hot porridge at any time, especially suitable for people who work overtime.
