Salted pork bones are a frequent visitor at home. They will cook it every once in a while. The porridge made with salted pork bones is very soft and sweet. This time, the water added is a bit too much, and it looks a bit dilute. In such a hot weather, I don’t have the appetite to eat. A pot of porridge can be used for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Salted Pork Bone Congee

1. Prepare the required materials

2. Soak the rice in clean water for half an hour

3. Then add a little salt and cooking oil, mix well and marinate for 10 minutes

4. Put the rice and ginger slices into the pot

5. Add salted pork bones

6. Then add an appropriate amount of water

7. Cover the pot and boil on high heat, turn to low heat

8. Chopped shallots and coriander

9. Then pour in boiling oil and soy sauce, mix well and set aside

10. The porridge has been very soft for a while

11. Finally add a little salt to taste

Tips:

When seasoning with salt, you must taste it first, because salted pork bones are very salty, so you don't need to add salt if it's salty enough. The coriander and spring onion seasoning can be eaten when they are properly added and mixed in the final porridge, or not, but the taste will not be so fragrant.
