My friend’s home is from Shandong, and once brought his mother’s sesame scones. They were so delicious and I never forget them! I made it today, although it can’t be reproduced, it’s still delicious!

Shandong Sesame Pancakes

1. Prepare the materials

2. Put all the ingredients into the bread machine and knead it into a dough (do not knead for too long, just form a dough, you can knead it by hand), knead it and wake up for 10 minutes

3. Roll the dough into thin slices and spread on shallot oil. You can use vegetable oil or butter if there is no shallot oil.

4. Fold it up like a quilt, roll it flat again, and repeat this three times.

5. Finally, roll it into about 2mm thin slices, pierce some holes with a fork

6. Cut into pieces

7. Put it in the aca oven, heat up and down at 190℃, bake for 20 minutes
