Fancy Steamed Dumplings

Peel the pumpkin and remove the old tendons, slice it and steam it in the pot.

Take 115 grams of steamed hot pumpkin and add 150 grams of flour. Cut and stir quickly with a spatula.

Mix well and knead it into a dough,

Brush a thin layer of oil on the chopping board and knead the dough well.

Add 200 grams of pork filling, add a tablespoon of oyster sauce, 2 tablespoons of pepper aniseed water, 1g five-spice powder, 1g ginger powder, 4g salt, 1 tablespoon soy sauce, and mix well. In order to make the meat fresh and tender, I also put 1 teaspoon of cooked oil.

Peel the gourd melon.

Grate the shreds, add 3g of salt and mix well, after 5 minutes, squeeze most of the water (don't squeeze too dry, if the squeeze is too dry, then add an egg white when mixing with the meat).

Mix it with the minced meat twice, and then add the chopped green onions when wrapping.

Cut into large dumplings.

The dumpling slices are patted with flour to prevent stickiness and folded into a five-pointed star shape.

With the folded side down, put a little minced meat (I put a bit too much, itβs not easy to pack, and I removed some more ππ).

Pinch the five corners firmly.

Carefully turn up the folded surface.

Steam on the pot for 8 minutes, then take out the pot and serve on a plate.

Tips:
The hot noodles are a little sticky, apply oil on the chopping board and knead it evenly so that it wonβt stick.
