Roasted pork with dried beans is a traditional famous dish of the Han nationality in Chizhou, Anhui. First, soak the dried beans in warm water. Cut the pork belly into 2 cm cubes. The soaked dried beans and pork belly are about one to one; then prepare garlic cloves, ginger, green onions, dark soy sauce, sugar, dried chili, Aniseed. I like to eat roasted pork with dried beans. I feel that cowpea that has been exposed to the sun has a special taste, which is probably the smell of the sun! The fragrant and fragrant are more delicious and flavorful than fresh green beans!

Roast Pork with Dried Beans

1. Soak dried beans in warm water for a few hours in advance, I soaked overnight

2. Cut the pork belly into small pieces. I use half of the pork belly and half of the pork ribs. It’s best to use all the pork belly.

3. I tied the soaked dried beans to the pork belly, and cut the rest into long pieces

4. Put the pork into the pot and add the sliced ginger to blanch water, remove the color after changing the color to remove the blood foam

5. Put the blanched pork into the automatic pot

6. Add seasoning

7. Add appropriate amount of water and mix well with a spatula

8. Add the lid, start the switch button, select the program (broiled pork), the cooking program is automatically executed, the default is 58 minutes

9. After half of the cooking time, add dried beans, mix well and continue to simmer

10. After the program is over, mix well with a spatula to get out of the pot

Tips:

1. The dried beans must be soaked thoroughly, so that the cooked beans absorb the juice of the broth, which is really better than meat
2. It is best to use all pork belly
3. The beans are too bad to be cooked, so I wait until half of the time to cook them before adding them.
4. If there is no automatic cooking pot, follow the usual way of braised pork
