Barbecued pork is the most common in Cantonese-style roasted meat, usually with brine platter, char siu rice and so on. For the char siu pork, I use a bit of fat from the top and bottom. We call this “green meat” and the lean meat with plum blossoms is sandwiched in the center. The thickness of this meat is just right, and the excess fat from the top and bottom is roasted. The finished product is sweet and juicy and the meat is tender and refreshing, which is a good choice. Some also like to be all skinny, and the skinny ones will taste dry when they are roasted. These are all depending on each person's preference. Does not affect the production

Tips:

1. You must choose good ingredients to make barbecued pork. If you can't buy this kind of meat, you can buy plum meat. If you can't buy these two kinds of meat, you can use pork belly, but the taste is slightly worse. If you use skinny, it will taste drier
2. The baking time and temperature should be adjusted according to your own oven
3. When marinating, it is better to put some minced garlic than ginger, it will be more fragrant when roasted.
4. The meat should be marinated for more than four hours to taste better. You can also use bamboo sticks to insert holes in the meat to make it easier to taste
5. Remember to put in a little soy sauce, it will be easier to color when you bake it
6. I use a PE5389 one-degree shuttle oven. When you use other brands of ovens, please pay attention to the appropriate temperature adjustment
